A reserve, not just a server
Rosa Wildlife Reserve is a sanctuary for prehistoric creatures brought back by a controversial bioscience project. Controversy aside, these de-extincted animals needed help - and from that need, the Reserve was founded. Rosa herself was among the first to be taken in, and remains as our ambassador to this day.
Every part of the Reserve has been tuned around how it feels to play here. Rules, profiles, resources, custom mods, creature stats: all of it is refined with our community in mind, so that Rosa offers something you will not find on another Path of Titans realism server.
Three seasons
Each season differs in weather, map layout, and nesting conditions, and each brings a different migration zone: an area rich in food and nesting material. Some residents spend their lives traveling between them.

Sickness, dwindling resources, and danger.
The lean season. Food becomes scarce, illness spreads, and the migration zone becomes worth fighting over.

How it works here
A ruleset that works with you, not against you
Past a certain point, more rules make realism harder, not easier. Instead of railroading your gameplay, we lean on detailed species profiles, stat adjustments, and modding that make realistic behavior the obvious choice. You get room to play out your own story inside a clear framework.
Education over punishment
Learning takes time. A first offense in any category is usually met with a reminder rather than a penalty, and we give grace where we can. What we do not extend that patience to is deliberate disruption - trolling, provocation, and malice have consequences, quickly.
Conflict that stays in character
Territorial creatures can challenge others based on species, relative size, and circumstances such as the presence of offspring. Bodies are long-term resources rather than places you have to sit and guard, so you can go about your animal’s day while you stay fed. Friction becomes part of the story instead of a reason to file a report.
Write yourself into it
The Reserve is staffed, maintained, and studied by people. Our trail-cam features exist for anyone who wants to play one: a biologist, an intern, a reporter, a palaeontologist. We would rather you observed your animals as a researcher than spoke for them as a human in a dinosaur suit.
Character restores
A revived animal was simply taken in by Reserve staff, cared for, and released again once it recovered.
Retirement
Not every animal roams free. Some are moved to enclosures near base camp for closer observation - a way to end a character’s story without ending it for good.
Surrogate nesting
Same-sex pairs and surrogates occur throughout the animal kingdom. Here, Reserve scientists place orphaned clutches with brooding pairs, allowing them to raise the young as their own, or a pair may simply come upon a clutch themselves.

Severe Wounds
Three stages. Adrenaline gives you forty-five seconds of speed and stamina to escape or land a final blow. Then the injuries catch up: reduced damage, health, and recovery for up to fifteen minutes. Recovering is the gentler tail of it. Rest and keep your animal fed to shorten both.
The roster
Rosa prioritizes quality over quantity, and we aim to keep the roster relatively small. Every playable has to occupy a niche no other one fills and a role in the Reserve no other can fulfill. Each is evaluated on sound quality, model, textures, animations, kit, gameplay balance, emotes, and skins, as well as where it fits against the rest of the roster. If a playable does not meet our expectations it will not be added, though something that receives a TLC may be reconsidered.
Rosa does not currently have fully aquatic playables or larger aerial playables, as we wish to evaluate how our ruleset holds up during our beta launch. Once the Reserve is established and we work towards our full release, we will look into adding aquatics and large flyers, along with the rules to accompany them.

Applying
The application balances what you know about Rosa against your realism experience. Most of it is multiple choice covering our rules, resources, and species profiles - we do expect you to have read them. A handful of written questions ask about you and how you play, not about us.
Huge-tier carnivores require a separate application to be completed before being able to play them. The application will be entirely multiple-choice, ensuring there is no subjectivity in who passes and who does not. In order to apply, at least one month needs to have passed since you were accepted into the server, and you will need to have accumulated at least ten hours of playtime. You will be allowed two attempts before being put on cooldown for one week.

Support the Reserve
Rosa runs on donations. They pay for the game server, the community server, and the tools that keep both going. Every tier gets a matching role in Discord, applied automatically once you link your Patreon on your dashboard.

Where we are now
Alpha · no public server yet
Rosa is currently in its alpha stage. There is no publicly available game server yet - we host occasional events in-game to showcase newly-released profiles, and our rules and resources are diligently developed and released as they are completed. Beta launches once every profile is done and the server is up. There is no ETA.
Current sprouts will become applicants again at beta and will need to apply, but keep their Early Worm role for having been here.
The long-term goal
Rosa would not exist without the animals we know today, and they need our help more than ever. Once the server sustains itself and holds enough reserve funding, we intend to donate any excess Patreon income to real-world animal conservation.
