What’s new

October 28, 2026

There’s a new channel with moving maps of where the Reserve has been busy.

Once an hour, a new channel in Discord shows where creatures have been and how busy the Reserve is. The map moves, so you can watch the past hour play out before you log in.

  • Reserve activity

A moving map shows where creatures have been in the past hour. It steps through the hour five minutes at a time, then shows the whole hour at once. The hour ended half an hour before the map goes up, so nobody can be found with it.

  • Reserve activity

Follow how busy the Reserve is, hour by hour and day by day. Charts show the players online in each hour of the last three days, unique players per day, creatures killed in the last day, and eggs claimed and hatchlings brought in.

  • Reserve activity

Every picture is fresh each hour. The old pictures go and new ones take their place, so the channel only ever shows the latest hour.

  • Nesting

Nests now follow each species’ own rules. Some species have a genetic forerunner, the biological parent of every egg in the clutch. Joining one of those nests shows who it is, or asks whether it’s your character.

  • Nesting

Each egg rolls from one female and one male when there’s no forerunner. With a forerunner, every egg rolls from them plus one of the other parents at random.
