Rosa Wildlife Reserve
In short: Play fair, be decent to other sprouts, keep your account details accurate, and understand that Rosa is a private community that can remove people who make it worse. You are also bound by the terms of Alderon Games and Discord. Donations pay for our running costs and buy no in-game advantage.
These terms apply to everything Rosa Wildlife Reserve operates: this website, our Discord server, our Discord applications (Rosa Terminal, Rosa Conservatory, and Rosa Front Desk) and our Path of Titans game server. We refer to all of it together as the Reserve.
By joining our Discord, signing in here, or connecting to our game server, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the Reserve.

Rosa is a community server built on someone else's game and someone else's platforms. Their rules apply to you as well as ours, and where they conflict, theirs win:
A ban from Alderon Games or from Discord ends your access here too, regardless of your standing with us. We cannot appeal those on your behalf.
You must be at least 13 years old, and older where your country sets a higher minimum age. If you are between 13 and 17, Alderon Games requires that a parent or guardian has read and agreed to their terms on your behalf. If we learn that someone is below the minimum age, we remove their account and delete the data described in our Privacy Policy.
Rosa is a private community. Membership is granted through an application and can be withdrawn. Nobody has a right to access.
To play on the game server you link your Discord account to your Alderon Games account through our registry. You are responsible for the accuracy of that link and for everything done on both accounts.
Our full ruleset, species profiles, and resources are published in our Discord server and form part of these terms. We do our best to prioritise education over punishment: a first offense within a rule category will usually be met with a reminder rather than a penalty.
Penalties escalate along a fixed ladder:
Staff apply judgement within this framework. We reserve the right to remove anyone who consistently undermines the community, including where no specific rule was broken.
Moderation of this server is entirely our responsibility. Alderon Games takes no responsibility for community-run servers, their availability, or the conduct of their staff, and cannot resolve disputes between you and us.
Reports are a tool for resolution and education. Using them to shame, target or ostracise another sprout is itself a breach, and so is shaming somebody for filing one.
Reports, investigations, and penalties are recorded and remain available to staff. You may appeal a penalty through our appeals channel. An appeal is reviewed by staff who were not involved in the original decision wherever that is practical.

Donations through Patreon are voluntary and support our running costs. They are not purchases of goods or services and are not refundable, except where the law requires otherwise.
Donating buys no advantage in the game. Alderon Games does not allow community servers to sell, or to accept donations in exchange for, in-game bonuses, boosts, items, growth or exclusive perks, and does not allow base game content to be locked behind a payment. We follow that. What supporters receive is recognition outside the game: a matching role in our Discord and our thanks.
In-game currency (petals), shop items, characters, growth, and any other in-game or in-bot item have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not your property. We can change, withdraw or reset them for balance reasons or when an account is penalized. Selling or trading them for real money is not permitted, and neither is selling access to the Reserve.
Once the server sustains itself and holds sufficient reserve funding, we intend to donate excess Patreon income to real-world animal conservation. That is a statement of intent, not a contractual commitment.
Trail-cams, character lore, artwork, screenshots, and other things you post remain yours. By posting them in the Reserve you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce and share them within the Reserve and in our promotional material, with credit where practical. You can ask us to stop using a specific piece at any time.
Only post content you have the right to post. Our custom mods, skins, profiles, and written resources remain ours and may not be reused on other servers without written permission. Neither we nor you may sell mods or user-generated content for Path of Titans; Alderon Games forbids it.
The Reserve is a hobby project run by volunteers. The website, bots, and game server are provided as they are, without any warranty. We do not promise uptime, and we may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it. Rosa is currently in alpha; nothing is final, including character data.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Reserve, including lost characters, progress or items. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death, personal injury or fraud.
We may update these terms. Significant changes are announced in our Discord server before they take effect, and the version and date at the top of this page change with them. Continuing to use the Reserve after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you in your country of residence. Note that your separate agreement with Alderon Games is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
