Rosa Conservatory gets to the point faster
Replies about nests, courtship, characters, the shop and giveaways are shorter and say which button to press.
What’s new at the Reserve
Every version of the website and the bots, and what changed.

Characters, genetics, nesting, courtship, the shop and giveaways.
The search looks through every page, not only this one.
Rosa Conservatory gets to the point faster
Replies about nests, courtship, characters, the shop and giveaways are shorter and say which button to press.
Rosa Conservatory's replies are friendlier and clearer
We rewrote the replies about characters, courtship, nesting, the shop and giveaways. When something can't go ahead, the reply now tells you what to do next.

A nest never hands out more eggs than it has
If two people take the last egg at the same moment, only one gets it. Pressing the register button twice still makes just one hatchling.
Quick double presses can't create extra items
Giving an item or buying from the shop can no longer make an extra item or sell more than the shop has in stock.

Buttons work again right after an update
Pressing a button on an older message, or while the bot restarts, no longer ends in "This interaction failed". If a button no longer does anything, you get a message saying so.
You can name the cause when you record a death in Discord
When you retire a character with the reason Died, you can now also pick the cause of death. It shows on the character page.
Deleted characters show as "Deleted character" in Discord
When staff delete a character, family trees, courtships and nests show it without its name or owner. It's also gone from the lists you pick characters from.
Banned members can't change their characters
While you're banned, you can't create, edit or retire a character, adopt, or register a hatchling. The message says when the ban ends, and your characters and family trees stay as they are.

Paused commands now tell you what's going on
While we fix a problem, some commands may be paused. You'll get a message saying what's happening and what to do next, and nothing you were partway through is lost.
The bot's status shows when we're fixing something
The line under the bot's name in the member list shows the problem while we work on it. It goes back to normal once the problem is fixed.
0.66.1 to 0.66.3 · 3 releases with no visible changes
Only you and staff can see your inventory and characters
Anyone could look up another member's petals, items and characters by naming them. Only staff can name another member now.
Staff can check your eggs and courtship timers for you
When you ask for help, staff can look up your egg list and courtship timer directly. They see the same answer you would.
The nest picture message now shows the right rule
One message said a picture link had to start with https, but it has to start with https://. Links written the way that message said were refused.
Gifting more petals than you have explains why it failed
You now get a message saying the gift didn't go through, followed by your balance.
Characters out of play are labeled the same everywhere
Two character lists called these characters "gone". They now say "no longer in play", like the rest of the Conservatory.
Removing one partner no longer ends the whole courtship
In a courtship with only one partner, the remove-partner button ended the courtship instead. That button now only shows when there's a partner to choose between.
Cancel no longer deletes a courtship that's already running
A courtship waiting on a new partner still has its timer running, and Cancel used to delete it. To end a running courtship, use /breakcourtship.
Gynandromorphs can't join a courtship through an invitation
Starting a courtship already refused a gynandromorph, since it can't court. Accepting an invitation now refuses a gynandromorph too.
Your courtship list includes courtships that haven't started
/courtshiptimer used to leave out a courtship still waiting for someone to accept. Open invitations now show up instead of the command saying none of your characters are courting.
Courtships can't go over their species' size limit
Two people pressing join on an older invitation at the same time could add more characters than the species allows. That can't happen anymore.
Egg counts on nests read correctly
A nest with one egg left used to say "x1 Eggs Available". The wording now matches the number of eggs left.
Nests now say any parent can bring the hatchlings in
The post used to tell everyone to wait for the member who opened the nest. Any parent on the nest can do it.
Wild characters no longer show a paid skin button that did nothing
A character rolled with /spawn never gets a paid, personal, partner or referral skin. The screen used to offer a button for those skins anyway.
Roll cards explain what a carried skin is
Each roll card now has one line explaining expressed and carried skins, so you don't have to ask what they mean.
Giving an egg back names the right button
The message used to tell you to react on the nest post. Nest posts use buttons now, so the message names the button to press.
Plainer wording across courtship, nesting and the shop
Messages now name the character, nest or egg they're about. Longer explanations are split into shorter sentences.
0.63.1 · one release with no visible changes
We now say "character" everywhere, not "creature"
Commands, buttons and messages used both words for the same thing. They all say character now.
The family tree command asks for a character
The /familytree option called creature is now called character. It works the same and still suggests your characters as you type.
You can now pick from every skin your species has
Discord menus hold 25 entries, so long skin lists got cut off. The list now has pages, and the page-turn entries show which names are on the next page.
Skins you ticked stay ticked when you change pages
Carried skins you picked on another page stay picked, up to the four a character can carry.
Making a character keeps working as more species are added
The species list for each diet now has pages too. Before, one species more than a menu can hold would have broken the whole screen.
The nest screen shows every character you play
If you had more than 25 characters, the list stopped at 25. It now has pages, and the note pointing at an old option is gone.
Nests won't bring in a character that's already grown
Before moving you, the bot checks your size in the game. If you're more than a quarter grown, it refuses, so you don't lose growth on a character you've been playing.
Hatchlings join the family tree once they're in the nest
Registering an egg saves what it is. Its parents are added to the family tree when a parent brings it into the game, so eggs that never arrive don't show up as children.
The bot only moves you if you're on the hatchling
The bot checks where you are and what you're playing first. Before, being on your adult meant it got moved to the nest and shrunk to hatchling size, with no way back.
Hatchlings are set to hatchling size when they arrive
You can claim an egg on a character of any size. The bot shrinks it to hatchling size as soon as it reaches the nest.
Either parent can bring the young in
You don't have to wait for whoever posted the nest. Both parents get a private message when a hatchling is ready to be brought in.
Opening a nest is now one command and one screen
The nest command's eight options are gone, and it opens the nest screen instead. The only option left is uploading a picture from your device.
Hatchlings that didn't arrive are now named
Bringing hatchlings in used to report everyone as moved. It now names who didn't arrive, and says whether the game server was off or refused.
Nests tell you when someone couldn't be pinged
The post still goes up. If the ping can't be sent in that channel, you're told, so you can point them to the post yourself.
You're told when a courtship or giveaway post didn't update
The reply used to say the post was updated no matter what. A courtship could look ended in the reply while the post still said it was running.
Opening a nest now asks one question at a time
The screen asks which character is laying, who's nesting with you, how many eggs, then the position, description and picture. Nothing is posted until you press Open the nest.
You see the season's egg limit before you choose
The screen only offers clutch sizes your species can lay right now, counting the item you picked. Before, you only found out after typing a number.
A half-finished nest survives a bot restart
Your answers are saved for an hour, so a screen you left open still works when you come back.
Some species only nest with a partner they've courted
This is off for almost every species, since most pairs form in the game. Where it's on, you're told which parent you haven't courted with.
0.55.1 · one release with no visible changes
Buttons and menus on the family screen work again
Picking a member or pressing search used to end in "did not respond in time". Both work now.
You can search your own characters when adopting
The first list stopped at 25 characters. You can now search by name, tag or species to find the character you want.
Every character list shows the character's gender
Gynandromorphs showed no gender at all. That's the one case where gender decides what a character can be on a family tree.
Adopting works the same for every gender
An adoption records who raised a character. Any character can adopt or be adopted, including a gynandromorph.
You can find a character by name, tag, species or owner
Both family screens ask whose character it is first. If you only have a name, press "Search by name instead" to see the matches and who plays each one.
Picking a member on the family and adoption screens works
Choosing a member used to do nothing and end in "did not respond in time". It works now.
Gynandromorphs can't be recorded as a father or mother
A gynandromorph is infertile, so it can never be a parent. The check used to let one through, and it now refuses characters of neither gender too.
Picking a bot on a family screen explains why it's refused
A bot doesn't play any characters. The screen now says so and keeps the member list open, instead of showing an empty list.
Father options only show a member's male characters
If the member has none, you're told right away. Before, every character was offered and the choice was refused afterward.
Picking a member on a family panel no longer fails
It used to end in "did not respond in time" and lose your choice. Each step now responds right away while the rest loads.
Giving petals or an item is now one command
`/give petals` and `/give item` replace the two old commands. The item list shows what you own and how many of each.
Command descriptions say what each command does
They used to be labels like "Your characters" or "Open a nest". Now each one says what you get back and what it changes.
Two duplicate commands are gone
`/dinoprofile` already lists a species' skins. Removing a family relation is a button on the screen that records relations.
Creating a character now happens in one place
The one-line version is gone. `/createcharacter` covers gender, subspecies, the skin it shows, up to four carried skins and the mutation, and saves each choice as you pick.
You can type in a skin that isn't in the catalog yet
This is for characters transferred in wearing a skin we haven't added. The character shows it but can't pass it on, since there's no record of that skin.
Gynandromorphs are refused at courtship, not at the nest
A gynandromorph is infertile and can't be a parent. You're now told when you pick one for a courtship, instead of later at the nest.
Adopting now uses a step-by-step screen
Pick your character, then the member who plays the one being adopted, then their character, and confirm. Each list only shows one person's characters.
Characters that share a parent now show as siblings
The family tree lists them automatically. Nothing extra has to be recorded.
Both owners get a message about an adoption
The adopter gets a copy to keep, and the other owner is told what was recorded. Before, the only sign was a changed family tree.
The adoption message says what doesn't change
An adopted character keeps its own parents, line and genetics. Both messages say so, and explain what to do if the adoption is wrong.
Adopting asks for things in a more natural order
First your character, then the owner of the one being adopted, then their character. The last list only shows that person's characters, and they don't have to be the same species.
Adopting a character from the wrong owner is refused
Typing a name instead of picking from the list could record an adoption from someone you didn't name. The reply now says whose character it really is.
0.46.1 to 0.47.0 · 2 releases with no visible changes
Only staff can record family relations now
Everyone reads family trees, and they affect genetics rolls. Ask staff to record a parent, adoption, siblings or found family for a character from elsewhere.
Anyone can see a character's recorded family
`/relate list` shows its parents, offspring, siblings and found family.
You can open a family tree by picking the player first
Run the command without naming anyone to pick from your own characters, or name someone to pick from theirs. Before, you had to find the character in a list of the whole Reserve.
Picking a species shortens the family tree and adoption lists
Both commands ask for a species, and the lists only show characters of that species.
Hatchlings are brought in when everyone's actually online
A button on the nest post lets you choose where they land and who comes, then confirm. Before, hatchlings were teleported as soon as an egg was drawn, hours too early.
"Bring it in-game" is now "Register character"
You're already in the game on the hatchling, and this adds it to the registry and family tree. The command is `/hatchling register`.
The nest poster gets a message when a hatchling is registered
The message names the character and the player, and says how many are waiting. You no longer have to watch the post.
Nest posts show everyone's in-game name
Parents and egg takers now show their in-game name next to their Discord name. Anyone who hasn't linked their account shows as not linked.
Characters can be recorded as family without a nest
`/relate add` records a parent, offspring, adoption, siblings or found family for characters from elsewhere. If another owner's character is involved, they have to agree first.
Found family is now its own kind of relation
It's family by choice, not blood or adoption. It shows beside a character like a sibling and passes nothing on.
Siblings and found family no longer show as parents
The family tree command could draw a brother as someone's father. Siblings and found family now have their own section.
You can no longer adopt your own character
Doing so used to add a second parent to a character you already own. Adoption is for someone else's character.
A new command tells you where you are in the game
`/whereami` gives your position, ready to paste into a nest post so the hatchlings land right there.
The family tree command sends the drawing, not just text
It was always falling back to the written list. The drawing works now, and a character whose page can't be opened still gets the written version.
Egg lists show whether each egg is male or female
Gender is rolled when an egg is claimed. You no longer have to open your own card to see which you have.
New characters get a five-letter species code
Every species now uses five letters, so tags are the same length. Existing tags moved to the new codes too.
Character lists show the name before the tag
Every line used to start with a tag like STY-007. You can still search by tag, so a tag copied from the website still works.
Bot replies no longer show character tags
Adding, hatching and listing characters used to print the tag next to the name. You'll find it on the character page.
Searching finds long tags and codes with numbers
Tags longer than six digits, and species codes ending in a number, now find the right character.
Refusal messages now say what to do instead
Some only said what wasn't allowed. They all now tell you who to ask.
The no-character message now says how to add a character
Four messages said this differently and none said how to fix it. They now tell you to add one with the character command, or pick a species you already play.
Messages say "that egg" instead of "the selected egg"
Around ninety messages used wording like "the selected character". They now read the way people talk.
0.42.1 to 0.42.2 · 2 releases with no visible changes
Staff commands start with STAFF: in the command list
Some commands have parts anyone can use, so they stay visible. The label shows which parts are for staff.
Every character now has a tag, like STY-104
A character gets its tag when it's made, and the tag never changes. Tags tell apart characters that share a name.
You can find a character by typing its tag
Any list that asks for a character accepts the tag. STY-104, sty 104 and sty104 all work.
Character lists show the tag first
When four lines say Willow, the tag is what tells them apart, so it's never cut off.
Family trees come as a picture and text together
You used to get one or the other. The picture shows the family's shape, and the text says who each character is.
You can pick whose character to look up first
`/familytree` takes a player, and the list then only shows their characters. Leave it out to search the whole Reserve.
The written family tree uses lines instead of spaces
Each generation is marked with a line, since phones dropped the spaces. Every entry shows the gender and appearance.
Eggs can't be taken until you open the nest
Nests used to go live as soon as a second parent joined. Now the post shows an Open the nest button when it's ready, and only you can press it.
Your nest's 30 minutes start when you open the nest
A nest that waited 20 minutes for its second parent used to get only 10. Now you get the full 30 minutes.
You can manage your own nest from the post
A Manage this nest button lets you change the picture, take an egg back, or remove a parent while no eggs are claimed. Anyone affected gets a message.
No more waiting between clutches
The four-hour wait after taking an egg or rolling a wild character is gone. A female's wait between her own clutches is gone too.
Species can allow nests with same-gender parents
Staff can turn this on per species. If a nest breaks the rule, you're told when someone joins, not when they take an egg.
Gynandromorph is now a gender, and gynandromorphs can't nest
A gynandromorph is male on one side and female on the other, and is infertile. It can never lay a clutch or be a parent, and you're told before you choose it.
Nest posts show who posted them at the top
That line used to be at the bottom, under the season rules.
You can add a subspecies and carried skins to a character
`/character add` now asks for the subspecies, the skin your character shows, and up to four it carries. That's what lets its young inherit them.
Hatchlings now carry three skins when parents have enough
Before, a clutch could end up with one skin from parents holding ten. Parents with only two to give still pass on two.
You can keep paid skins off the character you're rolling
A button on the egg stops a paid, personal, partner or referral skin from being the one it shows. The hatchling still carries those skins.
Veteran subspecies no longer pass to hatchlings
A subspecies a character grew into can be marked as not inherited. It can also name the regular form its young get instead.
Parents with a restricted skin can pass on the regular pattern
An albino skin can now name the regular skin a parent passes down. The condition itself is still never inherited.
Skins meant mostly for one gender show up less on the other
"Mostly males" and "either gender" used to roll the same. The skin can still appear on either gender, just less often on the other.
Every egg screen uses the same words
Claiming, rolling and bringing a character in-game all name the subspecies, the shown skin and the carried skins the same way. Buttons say what they do.
The skin a character shows is now called its expressed skin
"Dominant" and "recessive" are now "expressed" for the skin it wears and "carried" for the skins it can pass on.
Nest posts no longer show a female's wait between clutches
That wait depends on each female's last nest, so the number didn't apply to anyone. The post now shows how many eggs the season allows.
Seasons with the same egg limit share one line
They used to be split when their waiting times differed, and the post no longer shows waiting times.
You can search characters by owner or species
Typing an owner or species narrows the list, not just a name. That helps when 200 characters share a name.
An exact name match shows up first
The list was alphabetical. Now an exact match is at the top, then names starting with what you typed, then the rest.
The owner's name no longer gets cut off
On long names, the owner at the end of the line was cut off. The character's name is shortened instead.
You can turn down a new courtship partner
Accept used to be the only button, so the courtship could wait forever. Turning someone down leaves everyone already in it where they were.
A courtship waits while a new partner is decided
The new character isn't added until every partner answers. The timer doesn't restart during the wait.
Adding a partner no longer marks a courtship finished
A courtship that hadn't started could be marked finished once everyone agreed, letting the pair nest right away.
Take an egg with a button instead of a reaction
Replies now appear under the post, only visible to you. They used to come as direct messages, so people with DMs closed got no roll at all.
Give an egg back with a button on your roll
The button stays until you bring the hatchling into the game, so there's no reaction to remember to remove.
Taking an egg again gives you the same roll
Gender and restricted rolls are set the first time, so giving an egg back won't reroll them.
Nest posts show the species' rules for every season
The post lists how many eggs and how long the wait is for each season. Before, it only showed the current season.
Nest posts show each parent's genetics
Subspecies, shown skin, carried skins and any condition appear under each parent. You can see what an egg might become before you take one.
Nests show the eggs left as egg icons
A row of eggs shows the count, with everyone holding one listed below by the name they gave.
Nest status fits on one line
The post says whether it's open, waiting for a parent, not open yet or expired. It used to show four sentences of instructions.
Family trees are now a picture
The tree arrives as an image, one row per generation, showing how each character relates to the one you asked about.
You still get a family tree if the site is down
You get the written version instead of nothing.
Bringing a hatchling in-game no longer fails at the end
The character was made, but the button said the interaction failed. It now finishes properly and shows the result.
Rolls name the species first
Rolls used to read "A female lil gilly by Test123". They now say what the character is first, then who it came from.
Naming a hatchling shows the name right away
The roll and the nest now show the new name as soon as you give one.
Errors during a roll now say what went wrong
Several used to show as a failed interaction, which looked like the bot was broken.
Pictures you upload to a nest stay on the post
They used to break as soon as the nest changed. The picture now stays when a parent joins, an egg is taken or the description changes.
You can leave a nest you joined
If you joined with the wrong character, a button on the post removes it and tells the nest owner. You no longer have to ask them to close the nest.
Parents can't leave once an egg is taken
Eggs are drawn from the parents on the nest at the time, so leaving later would change whose young they are. The message explains this.
Nests with uploaded pictures update again
Descriptions, new parents and claimed eggs weren't showing on nests with an uploaded picture. The post now updates properly.
Restricted rolls ask for the condition first
You pick the condition, like albinism or leucism, then choose from your species' skins that show it.
Conditions without a matching skin aren't offered
The list only shows conditions your species has a skin for, based on your species and gender.
You can still back out at either step
Turning it down at either question keeps the skin you already drew. Nothing is saved until you pick a skin.
You now name who you're courting when you start a courtship
The person you name is asked under the post, and the post shows who needs to answer.
Only the person you invited can join, and they can say no
Anyone used to be able to join your courtship. Now others are told who it's for, and the person you invited gets a decline button.
Declining an invitation frees you both right away
No timer starts and no character is tied up, so you can both court someone else. The person who invited you gets told.
0.29.1 · one release with no visible changes
A rare roll now gives a restricted skin
You pick from your species' restricted skins. Albinism now comes as an albino skin your character actually wears, not just a label.
You can turn down the restricted skin
Your drawn skin stays as it is. If you take the restricted skin, your drawn skin becomes a carried skin, so it isn't lost.
The four-hour roll timer is now per species
Taking a Stygimoloch egg no longer stops you rolling a wild Eotriceratops. Eggs and wild rolls of the same species still share one timer.
Skins and conditions now show separately
Character sheets used to combine them on one line. The skin and the mutation or condition are now listed apart.
You can pick conditions that aren't tied to a skin
Melanism, partial leucism, axanthism and erythrism work on any pattern, so you can add them yourself. Albinism, leucism, xanthism, chimerism, gynandromorphism and piebaldism only come from a roll.
Characters with a restricted skin keep their skin
You can't edit or reroll its skin or condition. Only staff can change them, for a transfer or a correction.
0.28.1 to 0.28.2 · 2 releases with no visible changes
You choose the skin when parents' skins combine
Some skin pairs combine into a third skin. You now pick which of the three shows, and the others are carried for future offspring.
Skins a hatchling can't wear aren't offered
Only skins that suit the hatchling's gender are offered. The others stay carried and can reach the next generation.
0.27.1 to 0.27.2 · 2 releases with no visible changes
Nests expire 30 minutes after they open
The post shows when it expires and counts down. Eggs already claimed stay claimed and can still be brought into the game.
Eggs you give back are saved until the nest closes
Reacting again while the nest is open gives you the same roll. Once the nest expires, nobody can take the egg.
You can give an egg back until it's in the game
Remove your reaction from the nest to free the egg any time before the hatchling is brought in. After that, it's a registered character and stays.
Retaking an egg gives you the same roll
You get the same gender, skins, mutation and name, not a new draw. The roll timer keeps running.
Nest posts mark the mother and the father
Each parent now shows a gender symbol and the word mother or father, based on the character.
You can name who you want to court
`/startcourtship` lets you name a player, and they're pinged under the post. They still pick which of their characters joins.
You can name the other parent when you open a nest
`/nest` lets you name the other parent, and they're pinged under the post. They still choose which of their characters joins.
Rolling a mutation no longer fails at the last step
Winning the rare chance opened a menu Discord wouldn't show. It works now, and choosing no mutation is handled correctly.
Nests list everyone who claimed an egg
The post used to show only a count. Now it names everyone, with their hatchling's name once they give it one.
Remove your reaction to give an egg back
React with the egg to take one, and remove the reaction to give it back before you roll it. The bot sends your roll by direct message, or says why it can't.
Bot messages name the egg they're about
Messages like "This roll does not belong to you" now name the egg. Sending petals, retiring a character and starting a courtship do the same.
Courtship posts update as soon as someone joins
The post shows the character, everyone courting, who plays them, spots left and the courting time. It updates as things change.
Your courtships are shown as a list
The closest to finishing is at the top, with who's in each and when they can nest. Finished ones are at the bottom.
Courtship invitations show the character
The invitation shows the species, who's already courting and how many spots are left.
Naming a hatchling and describing a nest work again
Both windows failed to open, so the button did nothing. Courtship posts also update now when a courtship ends or finishes.
Nest posts show a picture and the eggs left
Upload or link a picture, or the species artwork is used. The post updates as parents join and eggs are taken.
You can write a full description for your nest
A button on the post opens a text box that supports Discord formatting. The description shows in its own section.
You choose the gender before skins are drawn
Taking an egg asks for the gender first, or you can have it rolled. Skins depend on gender, so they're drawn after.
Rolling a mutation lets you choose the mutation
The chance is still rare. When it happens, you pick from every mutation, or choose none and keep your drawn skin.
Roll a wild character with /spawn
Pick a species and a gender, or leave gender to chance. Wild characters have no parents, aren't on a family tree, and get the same mutation chance as hatchlings.
Eggs and wild rolls share one timer
You wait four hours between characters, however you got the last one.
Courtship and nesting buttons say what they do
Buttons like "I agree" now name their action, like accepting a partner or starting the courtship. One message that named an old button now uses the right name.
Courtship, catalog and shop buttons are clearer
Confirmation buttons now name the action. Choices that delete something say what stays and what can't be recovered.
Character, nesting, and shop messages are easier to follow
Buttons and errors now name what they affect. When something fails, the reply says what to change before you try again.
Character and giveaway messages use American spelling
The catalog, courtship and giveaway messages now match the spelling on the rest of the Reserve.
We call you a sprout everywhere now
Your rank has always been called Sprouts, but messages still said member. Now it's one word everywhere.
0.20.4 · one release with no visible changes
Picking carried skins twice quickly works now
Two quick picks used to collide and show an error. Now the second pick waits for the first and wins.
Character screens respond right away when things are busy
The screen used to freeze on busy evenings, so people picked again and got an error.
Menus now say what you're choosing
The species list, the skin field and the no-characters reply now name what they ask for.
The paid skin switch now covers personal, partner and bug tracker skins
Most players can't get these skins either, so the switch on a genetics roll skips them too.
Genetics rolls can skip skins you have to buy
Turn on the switch to leave out paid and referral skins. The roll says which skins it skipped.
Link your account to use characters, nests and the shop
Run /link with your Alderon ID, then /verify with the code the game sends you. Anything tied to your game account needs this first.
Some commands work before you link
Species profiles, the skin list, tickets, reports and applying all work without linking.
Items show their price and stock clearly
Price and stock now each have their own labeled line.
The shop closes itself after five minutes
It disappears five minutes after you last use it. Turning a page or buying something resets the timer.
Buy from a menu instead of typing an item name
The shop shows five items at a time with page buttons. The /purchase command is gone.
Everyone in the channel can see the shop
Only the person who opened the shop can use its buttons.
Messaging the bot gets you a dinosaur fact
Staff don't check the bot's direct messages, and the reply still says so. It now ends with a dinosaur fact.
0.16.0 · one release with no visible changes
Staff can remove a skin that characters still wear
Everyone wearing it gets a message naming their characters and asking them to pick a new skin.
Creating a character takes you step by step
You pick diet, species and name in order, then fill in the rest on one screen. No more fitting eight options into one command.
Your character can carry a hidden skin
A carried skin isn't shown, but it can turn up in your character's hatchlings.
Fix a character with /editcharacter
Change the name, gender, worn skin and carried skins. Skin choices update right away when you change the gender.

Hatchlings can be born with a mutation
A hatchling can be albino, melanistic, piebald, or carry a rarer configured mutation. The default chance is two percent, and staff can adjust the chance for each season.
You can reroll a hatchling's skins as often as you like
Rerolling changes the inherited skins but keeps the mutation result, so you can't reroll for a rare mutation.
Name your egg and bring it in yourself
Claim it, name it, set what it is, then press the button once you're in the game on the right playable.
Nests have a picture, a description and an egg count
You can ask for fewer eggs than the season allows. Asking for more gives you the season's maximum.
Add someone to a courtship with /addcourtship
Everyone already courting has to agree, and the timer keeps running while they decide.

Some species will raise another player's egg
Where the species allows it, someone can add an egg to your nest. It hatches as its own species and takes the place of one of your eggs.
Subspecies are passed down to hatchlings
A regional form now stays a regional form instead of being lost after a generation.

Hatchlings get their look from both parents
