Rosa Relay gets to the point faster
Messages about joining, leaving and the daily limit are shorter.
What’s new at the Reserve
Every version of the website and the bots, and what changed.

Reads messages aloud in voice, and writes what is said there back into a channel.
The search looks through every page, not only this one.
Rosa Relay gets to the point faster
Messages about joining, leaving and the daily limit are shorter.
Rosa Relay speaks more clearly and more warmly
Replies when Relay joins, leaves or can’t start were rewritten to say plainly what is on, what is off and what to do about it.
Rosa Relay has a daily limit
Speech transcription and reading aloud each have a daily limit, and a session ends after three hours. Relay posts in its text channel when a limit is hit and starts again at midnight UTC.

Buttons work again right after an update
Pressing a button on an older message, or while the bot restarts, no longer ends in "This interaction failed". A slow reply still arrives, and a button that no longer works tells you so.
The backup reading voice is always ready
The backup voice now comes installed with Relay, so it's ready the moment the usual voice can't be reached. It sounds flatter, but the chat keeps being read out.

Transcripts keep the order people spoke in
When people talked over each other, answers used to show up above the questions. Each line is now written down in the order it was said.
Voice transcript lines are no longer lost
If Discord refused a line, it used to be dropped without a trace. Now it's saved and tried again until it posts.
The transcript channel says when Rosa Relay stops
Relay doesn't come back by itself after a restart, so a transcript could just stop. Now Relay posts that it has left and needs to be called back in.
Rosa Relay no longer restarts every time somebody sends a message
A missing setting made the bot restart on every message in the server, so commands got no reply. That's fixed.
Voice transcripts show each speaker's name and picture
What you say in voice appears under your name and picture, like a typed message. Discord marks each line as coming from an app, so nobody mistakes it for something you wrote.
Rosa Relay now reads messages aloud in the test server too
Relay only listened in the main server, so in the test server it joined voice and then read nothing out. It now works in both.
A transcript of voice chat is easier to follow
Speaker names are now bold, and several sentences in a row from one person appear under one name. Before, one person talking could look like several people agreeing.

Only staff can call Rosa Relay into a voice channel
Relay writes down everything said in its channel, so bringing it in affects everyone there. If you need it, ask a member of staff.
Rosa Relay keeps reading aloud when the usual voice is unavailable
A second, built-in voice takes over by itself when the usual one can't be reached. It sounds flatter, but the chat keeps being read out.
0.1.1 · one release with no visible changes
A new bot reads the chat aloud and writes voice chat down
Rosa Relay joins a voice channel when asked. It reads new messages from one channel out loud and writes what people say in voice into another. It's for anyone who can't read chat or hear voice while playing.
Rosa Relay only joins when someone asks
Relay never joins or follows anyone on its own, and it doesn't come back after a restart. Audio isn't saved: it's deleted as soon as the words are written down.
Every version starts with a zero on purpose. Version 1.0.0 is the day the Reserve opens in full.
