New sprouts get a welcome message, a check-in button and a menu of roles. One button says you’ve read the rules, and the menu lets you pick your own notification roles. No waiting for staff to hand them out.

You’re told when you’re added to the registry. No more checking the channel to see if staff got to you yet. You’re pinged and sent your entry, and later changes reach you the same way.

You can prove your game account is yours with /link and /verify. The game whispers you a code, and /verify takes it from there. You need this for characters, nests and the shop. Tickets, reports and applying work without it.

The /whoami command shows your account on one card. Your rank, your Alderon account, whether it’s verified and how many characters you have. Any active penalty is listed with its reason, case number and end date.

Making a character with /createcharacter now takes you step by step. Diet, species and name come first, then the rest on one screen. Your character can even carry a hidden skin to pass on. Got something wrong? /editcharacter fixes it.

Hatchlings can be born with a mutation. A rare one comes out albino, melanistic, piebald or with another mutation. Reroll the skins as often as you like, the mutation stays put. Nice try, though.

You claim an egg by reacting to a nest, then name it yourself. Press the button once you’re in the game on the right playable, and your egg is brought in.

You can add somebody to a courtship with /addcourtship. Everybody already in the courtship has to agree. The timer keeps running while they think it over.

Every character has a family tree on the site. A character’s page shows its parents and its descendants across every generation. Handy for settling who’s related to whom.

You can redeem a growth code by typing it in the game. Type it once, and it applies to the character you’re playing.

A report now leads to an investigation, and one case number follows it from start to finish. An investigation can end in a penalty, and every penalty points to a rule.

Filing a report opens a window with room for the whole story. Say who and when, then write it out. Screenshots are saved the moment you post them, so the evidence doesn’t expire.

You open a ticket from one button, and you can see which staff member took it. The button picks the right kind of ticket for you.

You get a link to your transcript when your ticket closes. The link keeps working after the channel is gone. Clips and voice messages play right in it, and each message is saved as it’s sent.

A direct message to a Rosa bot now gets a reply. It tells you where to ask instead, and ends with a dinosaur fact for your trouble.
